The collection was donated to the University of Kentucky Archives in 1982 by an individual known only as Mrs. Victor Hammer. No other information can be made available.
Scope and Content
The Hammer Family Photographic Collection, ca. 1860-1900 consists of ten images donated by an individual identified only as Mrs. Victor Hammer. Seven of the images are commercially produced albumen cartes-de-visite of Confederate military and political figures. The remaining three images feature vacationers at Camp Natural Bridge, a recreation area near Natural Bridge, Kentucky
