Collection Overview

Biography / History
Dr. William Elijah Adams was born August 17, 1866 to Robert and Zorilla Adams in Washington County Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville as a Doctor of Medicine in 1889, and worked primarily in Anderson County, Kentucky as a physician. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Adams in 1896 and had eleven children. Dr. Adams died on September 14, 1944.
