A group of law students helped to solve the parking problem yesterday when they put a car in the foyer of Laffcrty Hall.
Dr. J. B. Floyd, of the Health Service, parked hi Morris Minor

Faculty Club for lunch.
"We said we'd wait 20 minutes, then put it inside," said one student. "This should teach him not to park illegally. "
When he had not returned In 20 minute-,- , 10 men picked up the
small, blue car and set it inside the building.
Mingling in and out, waiting for the doctor to return, the
law students teased each other about who did the job. Said one
law student, "All you have to do Is go down and eat lunch, rome
back and a car is parked inside."
Approximately an hour after the Incident, Dr. Floyd returned.
"I thought my car had been taken," he said, when asked what hU
first reaction was.
"These guys are real characters," Dr. Floyd said. "I think
the dean ought to buy them each a beer."
When the students had backed the car out of the foyer and Dr.
Floyd was leaving, one student quipped, "Doift park on the yellow
line again." Another said, "Don't walk on the grass."

SHAKESPEARE DOESN'T LIVE HERE
ANY MORE
A recent nnd most heartening development in American college

In fact,
the

And we all know how familiar thai is I mean Marlboro cigarettes. And w hy should it not be familiar? Why, w here learning
is king, where taste is sovereign, where bruin jxiwer rules
supreme, should not Marlloro be everyone's favorite? The same
good sense that gets you through an exam in Restoration Poetry
or solid-stat- e

come to pick a cigarette. You look for a flavor that is flavorful,
filter pure and white, a choice of pack or box, a lot to like. You
a

Las Vegas.
But I digress. We were speaking of the new campus phenoma man or woman who writes,
enonthe
paints, or composes right on your very own campus and who U
nlso available for occasional consultations with superior students.
Take, for example, William Cullen Sigafoos,
at the Toledo College of Belles Lettres and Fingerprint Identifi

As we all know, Mr. Sigafoos lias been working for many years
on an epic poem in. rhymed couplets alxmt the oening of the

Youngstown-Akrohighway. Until, however, tie went into
residence at the Toledo College of Belles Ix?ttres and Fingerprint Identification, his progress was not what yoU. would call
rapid. 1 le started well enough w ith the immortal couplet we all
know: Then speed along on .wheels of rubber, rushing home in,
time for subber . . .
Then Mr. Sigafoos got stuck. It is not that his muse deserted
him; it is that he became involved in a series of

He was engaged
posing
for a sculptor of hydrants
when an offer came from the Toledo
College of Belles Ix'ttres and Fingerprint Identification to take
lip residence there, finish his magnum opus and, from time to
time, see a few gifted students.
Mr. Sigafoos accented with pleasure and in three short years
completed the second couplet of his Youngstown-Akro- n

Then a few gifted students came to visit him. They were a
pn'Hsscssing lot the boys with corduroy jackets and long,
shaggy lieards; the girls also with corduroy jackets but with
beards neatly braided.
"W hat is truth?" said one. "What is beauty?" said another.
"Should a writer live first and write later or should he write
and do a little living in his spare time?" said another.
"How do you find happiness and having found it, how do
you get rid of it?" said another.
'
"Whither are we drifting?" said another.
"''I don't know whither you are drifting," said Mr. Sigafoos,
"but as for me, I am drifting back to Sandusky to jxjse for the
hydrant sculptor."
And back he went, alas, lea ing only a fragment of his Youngstown-Akron
Turnpike epic to rank with other such uncompleted masterpieces as SchulxTt's Unfinished Symnhony, the
Venus de Milo, and Singer's Midgets.

SHAKESPEARE DOESN'T LIVE HERE
ANY MORE
A recent and most heartening development in American college
life lias been the emergence of the
In fact,
lias lccome ns familiar a sight on campus
the
ps Ijitin jxmies, leather ell tow patches, Rorschach tests, hula
litHips, and Marllxro cigarettes.
And we all know how familiar that is I mean Marlboro ciga-

rettes. And why should it not be familiar? W hy, where learning
is king, where taste is sovereign, where bruin power rules
supreme, should not Marlboro lx? everyone's favorite? The same
gtxxl sense that gets you through an exam in Restoration Poetry
or solid-stat- e
physics certainly does not desert you when you
come to pick a cigarette. You look for a flavor that is flavorful,
n filter pure and white, a choice of pack or box, a lot to like. You
look, in short, for Marllxiro and happily you don't have to look
far. Marllxiro is available at your friendly tobacconist's or vending machine, wherever cigarettes are sold in all fifty states and
Las Vegas.
But I digress. We were speaking of the new campus phenoma man or woman who writes,
enonthe
paints, or composes right on your very own campus and who Ls
also available for occasional consultations with superior students.
Take, for example, William Ctillen Sigafoos,
t the Toledo College of Relies Lettres and Fingerprint Identification.
As we all know, Mr. Sigafoos has lieen working for many years
on an epic poem in rhymed couplets alxmt the owning of the
n
Youngstown-Akrohighway. Until, however, he went into
residence at the Toledo Coilege of Relies Iettres and Fingercall
print Identification, his progress was not what
rapid. 1 le started well enough w ith the immortal couplet we all
know: Then speed along on wheels of rubber, rushing home in
time for subber . . .
Then Mr. Sigafoos got stuck. It is not that his muse deserted
him; it is that he became involved in a series of
episodes a prefrontal lolxjtomy for Irwin, his faithful sled
dog; fourteen consecutive months of jury duty on a very complicated case of overtime parking; getting his coattail caught in
the d(xr of a jet bound for Brisbane, Australia; stuff like that.
He was engaged in a very arduous job in Sandusky
nosing
w hen an offer came from the Toledo
for a sculptor of hydrants
College of Belles Ix'ttres and Fingerprint Identification to take
up residence there, finish his magnum opus and, from time to
time, see a few gifted students.
Mr. Sigafixis accented with pleasure and in three short years
completed the second couplet of his Youngstown-Akro- n
Turnpike
epic: The highway is made of solid concrete and at the loll station you
get n receipt.

Then a few gifted students came to visit him. They were a
prejxissessing lot the Ixiys with corduroy jackets and long,
the girls also with corduroy jackets but witii
fhaggy
beards neatly braided.
"What is truth?" said one. "What is beauty?" said another.
"Should a writer live first and write later or should he write
and do a little living in his spare time?" said another.
"How do you find happiness and having found it, how do
you get rid of it?" said another.
"Whither are we drifting?" said another.
'11 don't know whither you are drifting," said Mr. Sigafoos,
"but as for me, I am drifting back to Sandusky to jxjso for tho
hydrant sculptor."
And back he went, alas, leaving only a fragment of his Youngstown-Akron
Turnpike epic to rank with other such uncomUnfinished Symphony, tho
pleted masterpieces as Schulx-rt'Venus du Milo, and Singer's Midgets.
& iww msluium
Take cheer, gootl friends, from one masterpiece that is complete. We, refer, of course, to Marlbttro cigarettes. Filter
end and tobacco end are both as good as tobacco artistry
and science can make them.
