- James Johnston is once identified as living in Adair County, Ky. The relationship between Thomas and James is not clear.
- Scope and Content
- This is a collection, on microfilm, consisting of four account books, an arithmetic notebook, and miscellaneous papers belonging to James and Thomas Johnston. The account books list assignments of debts made by the Johnstons. One also contains personal notes made by James and a list of the slaves he owned.
