7:30 P. M. Lodge opened in form on the MM Degree with the above

.officers and 5 others present.

The minutes of December 27, 1977 and January 1, 1978 were read
and approved as read.

The following bills were presented and duly ordered paid:

Glen Lane (refreshments) $ 17.35
Harvey Reynolds (Secretary Salary) 1,367.00
Masonic Temple Assoc. (rent) 1,500.00

Brother Holleran was presented his certificate of proficiency
from the Grand Lodge with accompaning card.

Worshipful Master Holleran then called the craft about the
altar and led in the reobligation of those present.

Brother Walter Johnston was reported in the Hospital receiving
his new pacemaker. Walter Charles, the son of Brother Phillip
Charles was reported in the hospital following a car wreck.

8:00 P. M. Lodge called from.labor on the MM Degree to refreshmen:
and a Lodge of FC was opened in form. Brother Russell examined
the following Brothers on the FC Degree:

John Marion Maxey
Richard William Day
Robert Neal Day

These Brothers were found proficient in this examination by vote
of the Lodge.

It was announced that there would be a called meeting on
January 7, 1978 at h:00 P. M. for the purpose of conferring the
MM Degree upon these Brothers.

8:30 P. M. Lodge closed in form on the FC Degree and Lodge was
called from refreshment to Labor on the MM Degree.

Brother McCollum assumed the East and conferred the first
section of the MM Degree upon the following:

After a fine meal, Brother John Marion Maxey was raised in short

Brother Wheeler of Sirkle Lodge No. 95h gave the charge of the
MM Degree and explained the tilers oath.

The new Master Masons were presented their aprons and received
other presentations .

Our visitors were three from Kentucky Lodges and three from Ohio.

The committees were discharged and the ballot spread. The
results of the ballot was that all were elected except the
reinstatement of John Roger Wallace which was rejected.

The Lodge received notice that our Brother Robert P. Martin
was a patient in Bay Pines VA Hospital in Florida, and that
Brother Larry Dennis Crowder was requesting a demit. Also
read was a letter officially notifying the Lodge of the
resignation and withdrawal of Jack P. Hodges as Grand Master
of Kentucky, and from masonry.

The following expenditures were presented and duly ordered paid:
