- John Crittenden Taylor was born in Madison, Kentucky, in 1861 to Bartleson Taylor and Eliza Jane Peyton. He married Nora Baker. Taylor died in Fayette County, Kentucky, in 1944. Most of the Taylor family referenced in the genealogical chart lived in Jessamine County, Kentucky.
