Collection Overview

Biography / History
The Kentucky Court of Appeals, prior to the 1975 amendment to the state Constitution, was the only appellate court in Kentucky. Now it is the lower of the two appellate courts. There are fourteen judges on the Court of Appeals, with two judges being voted in from every district for eight year terms.
