Dear Victor:

Your letter reached me this morning. I think it is a very good idea to
include the story about the ruurfies, and here it is. Unfortunately it is the
ofigmmlrmmhcqw,mfixwtmflytkw.szlkmmgmuuthmmdtmfi.By
all means use it anywhere and in any way you like. Incidentally, I notice that
the one directly above it is rather good too (John the Davrf at it againL)
and perhaps you might want to exchange it for another of the short ones that
are rather nonrcon ital. Do as you like. I believe the fragments of stories
on this page are going to make you insatiab_y curious. Perhaps I shall have to
send you the rest of the additions. Let me know.

I wrote to Carolyn yesterday a king for some books and took the occasion
to tell her h n much J. and I enjoyed our visit. It is so rare to find things,
even for an hour or so, so perfect. I oxly regret tiat we spoiled it by being
late and could not have enjoyed a whole morning talking with you. I do not
thi1h I will be back in lJezcihgton for a long time noun Our novice has been sent
home, his health is not sufficientli good for this life. But in that case, I
will expect you and Carolyn early in July, or even late in June. Lhenever you
like. Just let me know a little ahead of time. I am always cble to be free
about noon for an hour or so, as long as ynu let me know ahead of time. If

you would like, rather than just sit around at the gatehouse He could go up to
the lake or to some shady place. You can always have lunch at the guesthouse,
but of course-I {now that really is no advantage as Carolyn would have to go to
the Ladies' Ghest House.

s, I do have quite a question forming itself in hr mind. we can
sped: f it perhaps. iieannhile, about the books: I may . .te to your friend
to get some titles. I an interested in the ordinafiy titles that might be in

the library too. But it will be a difficult job.
I look forward to seeing some more proofs in c y case. Ken'does Carolyn
lire the hew version of the "Confession”? Perhaps the shorter one is better

for a Broadside. I like the Broadside project very much.

de bless you. Tith all a‘fection to both of you, in Christ
