Biography / History
Author. Ann Hebson, who lived in Louisville and later New York, published her first novel, A FINE AND PRIVATE PLACE, in 1958 and her second one, THE LATIMER LEGEND in 1961. The second is set in Kentucky and West Virginia alternating between the present day and Civil War eras.
Scope and Content
The collection contains typescripts of THE LATIMER LEGEND and undated notes which went into the writing of the historical novel.
