LS/2000 STAFF TRAINING
The OPAC (online public access catalog) Training Subcommittee

guides for self instruction. Training packets are also available
at the Medical Center Library from Bernie Baldini. Included in
the packets are two instruction sheets (one brief and one more

terminals, and a series of commonly asked questions with answers
on the LS/2000 system. All staff members are encouraged to take
a short block of time to become familiar with the system (branch
library staff will be trained as their systems come up).
Currently, there are three OPAC terminals in the Reference Room
and four in the Medical Center Library. They are available on a
first come/first served basis. You may also arrange to use
terminals in the King Circulation Department by contacting Gail
