- Biography / History
- Robert Frazer (1759-1851), originally from Ireland, was a silversmith in Lexington, Kentucky. He had a partnership with Thomas Phillips, and was the co-founder of Phillips & Frazer c. 1799. Robert was the uncle of famous painter, Oliver Frazer, and took over his nephew's education when his brother, Alexander Frazer died.

- Scope and Content
- The Robert Frazer account book is a daily account book for a general store in Lexington, Kentucky, that dates from December 1813- February 1815. Fannie Frazer, a descendant of Robert, later used the account book as a scrapbook. Newspaper clippings and multiple pictures, including biblical depictions, engravings of presidents, and images from the Vernon Gallery, cover the first third of the book. Items in the scrapbook range in date from 1865-1878.
