The faculty met in the faculty room on Tuesday, May the
eleventh, 1915, to complete the work left over from the meeting

held On Friday, Lay the seventh, President Barker presiding.

President Barker announced that the purpose of tne meeting
was to consider recommendations made by the Student Welfare
Committee with reference to the Honor System. After a general
discussion, the following reconmendations were adOpted:

A ' without the sanction of the General Faculty, we further re~
commend that any violation of the Honor System, or failure

to abide by the decisions of the Honor Committee, shall be

 

 

brought before the regular Committee on Discipline and that

; such violations shall render the guilty person liable to expul-
sion from the University; (6) that whereas it is desirable for
members of the Faculty to report any eVidence of cheating to she
Student Committee for their consideration, and cooperate with

the Student Committee in every way possible whenever called upon

 

 

 

by the Committee to so assist them, yet no member of the Faculty

should in any way interfere or participate in the operation of

 

the Honor System except when expressly invited to do so.
