  THANK You Lso
il Thank you for the groceries. The groceries helped through the
i . holidays, I appreciate the food. Your visits are always welcomed.
q Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ritchie
{ As Betty and Paul are both in wheel chairs and it will be so hard to
i go to the grocery this time of year, we will put a box in the Staff »
§° Lounge. If you would like to bring canned food we will see that it is
  delivered to them.
x Dear Friends:
i _ Again you have shown the real spirit of Christmas by generously contributing
» to the patients' Christmas with your gift. I find it difficult to put into
é - words the appreciation which is felt by the patients, their families, and
2 the staff. -
V ' Your gift was used for special gifts which the Auxiliary had not been able
2 ‘ to buy. One of these was warm socks for the men — a simple item which has
j become so expensive that it is very special. It is also one which gives
’ . a great deal of security and satisfaction to the person receiving the gift,
Q
3 The gifts you made possible were distributed to the floors for the nurses to
5 give to the patients on Christmas morning by the Director of Nursing and
S one of the chaplains. I wish that each of you could have been there to share
i the spirit of the day and to experience the pleasure of giving.
i
l Please express our gratitude to each member of your organization. We thank
l you!
·i Sincerely, _ `
