- The Playreaders was an organization established in January 1941 by Grace Snodgrass of Lexington, Kentucky, for the purpose of enjoying and promoting the reading of plays.
- Scope and Content
- The Playreaders scrapbook (dated 1941-1945, undated; 0.23 cubic feet; 1 box) consists of a scrapbook containing typed summaries and reviews of plays, a photograph, correspondence, newsletters, newspaper clipipngs, musical scores, minutes, and programs, which document the activites of the Lexington, Kentucky, group.
