Scope and Content
These papers consist of receipts for various services involving the estate of John Rogers. Included are materials pertinent to the estate of Joseph Rogers, the father of John, James and Henry Rogers. The collection also contains clippings, receipts, subpoenas and an arrest warrant. Documents signed by R[obert] Wickliffe, attorney for one of the Rogers, is also present. One of the receipts is signed by Henry Clay (1843). A summons for William Preston, et al. calls for him to appear in Lexington court in October 1860.
