DIVISION OF DRIVER'S LICENSING

1. Please note that remote processing of driver's license/ID card
renewals or replacements in Fayette County will not begin until June
8, 2020 and shall end on July 31. 2020, You must use the Kentucky
Department of Transportation (KYDOT) application form specific to
Fayette County: Form To 94492 and only driver‘s licenses/ID cards
expired or lost between March 1. 2020 and June 30, 2020 are
eligible. Applications MUST include the expiration date of your DL/lD
and your signature. or it cannot be processed.

    

9. All questions related to driver's testing (written or driving) should be
addressed to the Kentucky State Police at

wwwkentuckystatepolice org. The Kentucky State Police manages

2. The processing time for renewal applications could take up to five (5)
business days.

3, The mailing address for applications is: Division of Driver‘s Licensing,
141 Leestown Center Way, Lexington, Kentucky 40511 and checks
are to be made to Fayette County Circuit Clerk,

4. There will be no in-person services or appointments available in
Fayette County until August 3, 2020. If you need iri-person services,
please schedule an appointment with the KYDOT office located at
200 Mero Street, Frankfort. Kentucky 40601, via their website:

5. If your address has changed. you will need to make an appointment
N OTI C E at the KYDOT Office located at 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky
40601 for replacement and to show proof of change of address. This
