in the men‘s dormitory:

”As a result of information received concerning cer-
tain disturbances which have recently occurred in the third
division of the old dormitory, the Committee on Discipline
met in session on April 8, 9 and 10, and examined a number
of students- aoout ten in all- who room in this division.
The investigation revealed that, for two sessions or more,
there has been in existence in this division a loosely or—
ganized body of studems which has met frequently, and has
occasionally indulged in a so~called initiation of willing
or unwilling vi¢tims, accompanied by practices of dis.
gusting and unmentionable vulgarity. TWO of these initia-
tions have occurred within the past ten days, and have been
accompanied or followed by festivities in which alcholim
liquors have been brought to the dormitory and distributed]
to the participants.

The inquiry has established beyond any reasonable
doubt that the following named persons were among the lead-
ers in these occurrences: J. H. Moore, 0. B. Elston,

G. F. Reddieh, N, N. Terry, Gordon B. Nance, Carter Clark,

A. G. Craig,‘J. P. Ricketts, R. C. Scott.
