- "This map is intended to be the best practical compilation of all existing available maps. Approximately four hundred separate maps are combined in this work. Those areas which have never been adequately mapped are represented by broken lines." Includes "Averaged geologic section of exposed rocks in Kentucky," table of "Miscellaneous pools," and "keys" for 11 counties. Shows counties, towns, streams, roads and railroads.
