Biography / History
The Lexington and Fayette County Medical Society was organized in 1869.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of early records of the Society, including the original constitution, bylaws and membership list, along with some early minutes. Also included is the text of a speech given in 1950 by Dr. John W. Scott, which contains his reminiscences of the society.
