- A branch of the Hickman family is known to have lived in Frankfort, Kentucky, and another branch, near Clarksville, Tennessee.
- Scope and Content
- This is a microfilmed copy of the personal papers of the Hickman family. Included are family letters, surveys, and contracts relating to several generations of the family. There is also a journal which belonged to James L. Hickman, in which he recorded information about the weather and family events during 1850 to 1855.
