- Francis Abe Carr Thompson graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1923. He was a member of Company D, of the 4th Scabbard and Blade, a national honorary society for cadets; Goethals Engineering Society; Su-Ky Circle; Varsity Rifle Team (3,4) where he was a Cadet Lieutenant (3) and then Captain (4); Y.M.C.A. Cabinet (3,4); Radio Club where he was Treasurer (4); Track Squad (4); A.I.E.E.; A.A.E.; and A.S.M.E.
- Scope and Content
- The Abe Thompson photograph album contains photographs of students, faculty, and the University of Kentucky campus. Many of the photographs are of the clubs and activities that Abe Thompson was a part of. The photographs are pasted onto black album pages. Sample images represented are football games, the Rifle Team, the "K" Club, portraits of professors, casual images of men and women on campus or in Lexington, and campus buildings.
