- Genealogist, collector, history teacher. Mrs. Neel was the first curator of the Alben Barkley Museum in Paducah, Ky.
- Scope and Content
- These are microfilmed copies of Paducah, Kentucky records collected by Mrs. Courtland Neel. The materials include the handwritten record of internments for the Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah for the years 1909 to 1935 (excepting most entries for 1928 and 1929, which are missing). There are also family Bibles and a diary kept in 1917-1920 by Ray Smith. Other materials include Paducah city directories (for 1866?, 1871-1872, and 1894- 1895) and a few issues of local newspapers, such as an edition announcing the armistice that ended World War I.
