Biography / History
Robert Burns Pusey, born in 1836, was a physician and native of Kentucky. Pusey attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He practiced medicine in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Pusey passed away in 1889.

The Robert Burns Pusey papers comprises daybooks and ledgers (dated 1863-1889; 1.95 cubic feet, 3 boxes, 3 items) that were used to record the accounts of Dr. Pusey's medical practice in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Also included in the collection is the Pocket Companion, a portable pharmacopoeia.
