- The records contain various documents and papers regarding a lawsuit over disputed land in Kentucky. According to one of the documents, the heirs of Nathaniel Hart were the complainants in the suit, and the heirs of John Hawkins were the defendants. The papers consist of summons, notices of taking depositions, depositions, letters and other statements. There may be more than one law suit involved in this land dispute. The papers are not clear in this matter. The location of the land is not certain. It may have been in the Lexington, Ky. area, as the depositions were taken there.
