I Dear Sir;- We are in receipt of a letter from one A. C. Day of Ice,Ky., in which ne says that at vour request he is writing us in regard to some land at Denham which belonags to the McKnie;ht heirs, and - save that part referred to is that which belongs to Mahala Ingram, b referring to a letter written in regard to this McKnight land some two or more years ego. We cannot tell positivelv from his letter, but we believe he refers to what is known as the widow*s dower in the h. B. Smith tract, which is on Haaeards Branch. Some two or three years ago there was a suit over some shall interests in this dower tract and these interests were disposed of. In that dower tract there was originally a Mahala Ingram who owned an interest, but she and her husband in 1891 by a valid deed of record conveyed all ci her interest to the grantor of the Wisconsin Steel Co., and she can I HEVB no further interest in it, as far as we are advised. however, in order to get what information we can and to be SUTB that it is to this that Day refers, we are writing him the enclosed letter and send vou a copv in order that you may be advised. We would suggest, however, that vou make no mention to Day of this conveyance 4 above referred to, as we would like to get all the information we can from him before advising him of tHiS conveyance in order that we
