Collection Overview

Scope and Content
The Political Campaign Buttons, etc. collection contains memorabilia from different national, state, and local political events. The memorabilia includes buttons, pins, ribbons, bumper stickers, fliers, and brochures as well as other promotional items, such as pencils, nail files, and paper hats.
The collection has been arranged according to type of memorabilia. For instance, the first nine boxes contain envelopes which hold buttons and pins. The next four boxes contain party specific campaign materials (brochures, fliers, admission ticket stubs, etc.) for a designated campaign year. A section of bumper stickers appear next, followed by a section of ribbons and other promotional items. The collection also contains one oversize envelope and eleven individually wrapped items.
