- Historian, attorney. E. E. Barton served as dean of the Pendleton County, Ky. Bar Association and also devoted time to collecting historical data on that county, especially family files dating back to the 18th century.
- Scope and Content
- This collection, compiled by E. E. Barton, concentrates on Pendleton County, Ky, but includes genealogical information on many Northern Kentucky families. Fact sheets on individuals provide, when available: name, dates, education, military service, children, parents, individual burial sites, church affiliation, legal and financial records, and general notes. Several reels of film include records from cemeteries in Pendleton County and church records from Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill Christian Church and Boone's Creek Baptist Church. Historical data on Union and Grant Counties is included, as are indexes to Pendleton County marriages.
