- The Preston family of Kentucky included Confederate General and diplomat, William Preston (1816-1887).
- Scope and Content
- This is a microfilm copy of papers relating to the Preston family of Kentucky. Included are financial records and correspondence of General William Preston. Much of the correspondence is from Preston to his son, Robert Wickliffe Preston (1850-1914). Preston family genealogy is also in the collection.
