WBLG News Special: At 12:25 this afternoon. Former President Eisenhower died at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington General Eisenhower endeared himself to Lexingtonians three times. He was seeking the Presidency when here for the first time in 1952. He returned as President to assist in the dedication of the Francis Carrick Thomas Library at Transylvania College. His third visit came in 1956 when he was a candidate for reelection.(P.T.: 9 min)
