- The accession contains a typescript of "The Battle of Tebbs Bend, July 4, 1863." According to Hebel, Col. Orlando Moore, U.S.A. and members of his 25th Michigan Infantry successfully defended the bridge over Green River at Tebbs Bend between Columbia and Campbellsville, Ky. from the forces of Brigadier General John Hunt Morgan on July 4, 1863. The engagement was also known as the Battle of Green River and as the Battle of Green River Bridge. It occurred at the beginning of Morgan's famous Indiana-Ohio Raid of July, 1863.
