- Farmer Joseph S. Satchwill was born around 1863 in Gallatin, Kentucky, to James A. Satchwill (1837-1924) and Nancy B. Montgomery (1840-1921). He married Angeline Moore (1860-?) in 1889; they had no children. Satchwill died on September 26, 1945, at the age of 82.
- Scope and Content
- The Joseph S. Satchwill scrapbook (dated 1878-1901; 0.07 cubic feet; 1 item) comprises newspaper clippings primarily consisting of Baptist religious and allegorical stories. The scrapbook is a repurposed 1879 agriculture report book made in Campbellsburg, Kentucky.
