See also the Lester D. Prewitt papers (1F74M-761). These materials reflect the genealogical and historical interests of John M. Prewitt. The collection consists of an autobiographical notebook, written sketches of Prewitt family members, a brief historical account of Montgomery County, Kentucky by Lucius Buckner, and a sketch of Montgomery County by John M. Prewitt. Clippings and an essay relate to Montgomery County physician Dr. Morton Faulkner (b. 1878). There is also a copy of the July 16, 1953 edition of the MOUNT STERLING ADVOCATE.
