The Equal Rights Amendment series contains a copy of the amendment proposed by the Citizen's Advisory Council on the Status of Women in 1970 as well as a copy of the amendment vote in the 1972 General Assembly of the Kentucky Legislature. Articles and newspaper clippings regarding the amendment are also included.

This includes correspondence by Rebecca Westerfield, Student Government vice president; a copy of the Student Government constitution; council member information; informative literature about birth control and abortion; event programs; and administrative reports.

The Kentucky Women's Political Caucus series contains copies of speeches by Rebecca Westerfield, promotional and informative materials about the caucus, newsletters, election ballots, and Caucus convention agendas and registration forms. The series also includes information about the Socialist Caucus, a subdivision of the Women's Political Caucus.

The Political Materials series contains a record of the number of young people at the Democratic Convention as well as essays and newspaper clippings about feminism and women's rights. Also included is a copy of "Social Conflict and Political Estrangement" by Arthur H. Miller, Thad A. Brown, and Alden S. Raine, presented at the 1973 Midwest Political Science Association Convention.

The Women's health series contains informative materials from Planned Parenthood and the Student Health Advisory Committee about women's health issues. Government bulletins and newspaper clippings document the national debate about abortion laws. The series also contains bulletins from the Reproductive Freedom League, an organization dedicated to preserving a person's right control their own reproductive life.
