- Dr. John Levi Cutler was a professor of English at University of Kentucky in the 1960s. These greeting card scrapbooks were compiled by his family.
- Scope and Content
- The Cutler family greeting card scrapbooks is a collection featuring greeting cards and postcards collected by the family, the majority of which are Christmas and holiday related. The collection is comprised of three volumes: Volume I, which is 34 pages in length, features holiday and scenic greeting cards from Japan in its first 19 pages and various greeting cards (mostly Christmas) featuring cats through the rest of its pages. The vast majority of Volume II's 57 pages are composed of Christmas greetings. The last in the collection, Volume III, also consists primarily of Christmas greetings, but also contains a variety of art images, postcards and paper ephemera.
