Scope and Content
The Albert R. Crandall photographs, circa 1883-1890, contain 45 mounted images of various subject matter. There are images of specific people as well as geographical locations surrounding Beaver Creek. The collection also has images of private residences, families, and member of the University of Kentucky faculty. There are images of Survey men and students at a geological survey camp as well as a photograph of the portraits of the members of the Kentucky Geological Survey of 1885. Other images include unidentified landscapes and scenes of daily life from in and around Floyd and Whitley Counties.
