I shall be glad to come to Summit, N. J.,

to speak before "The Athenaeum" on the second Thursday
in Marin. I have a little sense of insecurity in making
any engagement that far ahead, but I cannot see any reason
now why I shall not be able to fulfil the engag-ment.

It is a great happiness to me to hear that my
good friend, Dr. Mabie, is regaining his health. Please
