INSTALLATION
Remove burner (without control) from manifold.
Fasten pilot burner to main burner, see photo above.
Install burner and manifold as shown above and secure to brackets
with two 1 4-20 x 3 4 machine screws.
Install burner on manifold on back side of heater and secure the same as
the first burner.
Connect gas to inlet of control.
Check all piping for leaks with soapy water.

Procedure For Lighting, Operating and Turning Off This Wall Furnace

The Gas Cock Dial has a dual function:

A) Complete control of gas to pilot and main burner.

B) When in pilot position, it is the reset mechanism for the automatic pilot.

The Gas (‘oek Dial cannot be turned to “OFF” position without first de-

pressing dial in “PILOT" position and then rotating to “OFF.”

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Close main and pilot gas supply by depressing and turning gas cock
dial to “OFF”. ®

2. Turn temperature dial to “OFF” position or lowest position on dial. ®

Before attempting to light or relight Pilot, wait 5 minutes to
allow gas which may have accumulated in the burner compart-
ment to escape.

3. Turn Gas Cock Dial to “Pilot” position. 5)

4. Depress and hold “Gas Cock Dial” while lighting Pilot Burner. Allow
pilot to burn 1: minute before releasing. If pilot does not remain lighted,
repeat operation allowing a longer period before releasing. (Adjust
pilot it' necessary, as noted under “Pilot Burner Adjustment")

5. Turn gas cock dial to “ON” position. (9 IMPORTANT: Do not use
GAS COCK DIAL to adjust gas input on Unitrol.

6. Turn temperature dial to desired position. @

7. To turn off wall furnace, repeat step 1 above.

PILOT BURNER ADJUSTMENT

1. Remove Pilot, Adjustment Cap. (3‘) .

2. Adjust pilot key to provide properly sized flame.

3. Replace Pilot Adjustment Cap.
