Attention: Mr. L. F. Becker
Gentlemen:

After checking back on the age of the 5 x 5 compressor,
motor, condenser, etc. that you nave down there, to the best of
our records we find it was purcnased in 1923. Ne feel that since
the nachine is the old Splash system and the flyWheel is not grooved
that we had better not consider any offer at this time.

It would cost us considerable In freight to get it back
here from wheeiwright, pIus the cost of Labor to recondition it, so
my recommendation would be that you sell it, LOgether with the con-
denser, receiver, etc. to some junk man.

I am sorry that at the time I spoke to you 1 was not more
fuliy acquainted with the age and possible condition of the machine,
however, I would rather be frank and honest than to beat around the
bush and make you believe we might be interested later, wnLch will
not oe the case.

Witning you the Compliments of the season.

Yours very truly,
THE C. M. ROBINSON COPPANY
