Scope and Content
The Kentucky County Court records (1780-1895, 1914, undated; 1.2 cubic feet; 3 boxes) consists of court records from many counties in Kentucky as well as records from Virginia and Missouri. The records include court appearance summons, primative form court transcripts and judgement records. They include some early cases following Kentucky's statehood in 1792 as well as cases through the Civil War and Reconstruction periods.
