Collection Overview

Biography / History
Robert P. Brown was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on June 23, 1918. He married Helen Page in 1940 and served in the 24th Infantry during World War II. Following the war he attended the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1946. He worked as a civil engineer and became the vice president of W. J. Congleton Co. (Lexington, Kentucky) and Nally and Gibson (Georgetown, Kentucky). He died on November 1, 1987.
