world, will conduct the annual basketball clinic in Alumni gym. Monday night. The program will get
underway at 7:30.
This clinic is conducted annually
by the University athletic association for the benefit of high school

Conference held at Berea College,
December 6 to 8. Last year the
conference was held at Morehead.
Dr. Sherwood Eddy, who was to

the conference, will be unable to
attend because of a back injury.

Joe "Red" Hasan, particularly,
has been Impressive In this week's
scrimmage sessions. Although only
a sophomore. Hagan has had considerable experience. He was a
member of the St. Xavier hlh
school team that went to the National Catholic tournament two
years ago and was named a member of the Catholic
team that year. He was one of the
mainstays of last season's frosh
squad which had a fine record.
Hagan seems certain to be one of
the regular front court starters and
he will probably team up with
Ralph Carlisle, who is starting his
second season as a member of Kentucky's varsity. As an understudy
to Dave Lawrence last year, he did
not have much opportunity to display his ability, but has come into
form rapidly this fall and will
