MINUTFS OF THE UNIVERSITY SENATE
November 1 O, l 931)

The University Senate met in the Lecture Room of McVey Hall November 10,
with Dean Boyd presiding.

The following report of the Committee on Duplication of Courses was
approved;

VPsychology 121° Stddent Personnel» Three hours a week. Three credits.
Prerequisitesa General Psychology and senior standingo

 

 

 

l/Education 169. Directed Teaching 33 Physical Educatidn. Five credits.
Four hours a weeka

 

The motion to change the number of Senate representatives on the
University Council from two to four was considered and Et"t§§t it is
to be presented at the next meeting of the Senate in the following
form:

”Moved that the Council shall consist of the President
(Chairman) the Deans of the Colleges and of the Graduate School,
the Dean of Men, the Dean of women, the Registrar (Secretary ex«
officio), together with four members elected by the Senate. At
the first election, two are to be elected for one year and two for
two years and thereafter two members are to be elected each year
for two years» Not more than one member may be selected from
any one college.”

It is furthefi provided that the members elected annually from
the Senate may not succeed themselves in office.”
