- Born Barbara Maurine Brantingham (1919-1980), Barbara Britton was an actress in Hollywood, California from 1941-1980. Britton was from Long Beach, California and lived there till 1957 when she moved to Manhattan with her husband, Dr. Eugene J. Czukor. The couple had two children together, Theodore Britton Czukor (b. 1947) and Christian Britton Conroy (b. 1951). In February of 1960, she received a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Britton passed away at the age of 60 from pancreatic cancer in 1980.
- American Letters collector Wade Hall (1934-2015) was a native of Union Springs, Alabama. Starting in 1962, he lived in Louisville, where he taught English and chaired the English and Humanities/Arts programs at Kentucky Southern College and Bellarmine University. He also taught at the University of Illinois and the University of Florida. He held degrees from Troy State University (B.S.), the University of Alabama (M.A.), and the University of Illinois (Ph.D.). He served for two years in the U.S. Army in the mid-fifties. Dr. Hall was the author of books, monographs, articles, plays, and reviews relating to Kentucky, Alabama, and Southern history and literature. His most recent books include A Visit with Harlan Hubbard; High Upon a Hill: A History of Bellarmine College; A Song in Native Pastures: Randy Atcher's Life in Country Music; and Waters of Life from Conecuh Ridge.

- The Barbara Britton movie scrapbook (dated circa 1940-1949; 0.04 cubic feet; 1 item) comprises a single fan-made scrapbook about Hollywood actress, Barbara Britton. This scrapbook features different headshots, magazine and newspaper articles, movie reviews, advertisements and an autograph of actress Barbara Britton. One magazine interview includes the discovery of Barbara and her first screen test for Paramount Pictures. Motion pictures mentioned are; So Proudly we Hail (1943), Till We Meet Again (1944), Captain Kidd (1945) and The Virginian (1946). The fan that put together this scrapbook is unnamed.
