- Some of the material has Sharp's name spelled "Sharpe".
- These papers consist of evidence gathered in a law suit which involved a land dispute in Lexington, Ky. Included with the legal papers are depositions, an appeal bond and a subpoena. Of note is a plat of early Lexington which shows in detail, the layout of the town and discusses how Lexington was settled.
