Nicholas On motion the following resolutions were adopted - Resolved that it is the sense of this informal meeting of a majority of the Board of Trustees that the eminent services of Dr. Peter regime that in his retirement from the MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES,June 2, 18S/ - page 72 active duties of his Professorship the title and dignity of Emeritus Professor be conferred upon him, that his name be continued in the catalogue during his lifetime and that the use of the private laboratory for such analyti- cal werk as he may desire to do for the Geological Bureau and for private persons be hereby tendered to him.
