UNITED WAY AWARDS CDFFEE l _
» The annual United Way‘Awards Coffee will be held on Wednesday, September 29th
at 9:30 a.m. in the King North Staff lounge. The Library will be presented
_ with a special plaque for having an increase in donations exceeding 25%. _
As last year' s United Way coordinator for the Library I would like t0‘invite
all staff members to attend this celebration. Not only did we exceed last
year's goal but we had 7.5% of our staff giving--this is far above the 4
. average for the University. You are _not only a wonderful staff to work with-
but most generous. _
This year Mike lach has the role of coordinator for the Library and I am
sure the United Way tradition of giving will continue to grow under his
sincere and enthusiastic direction.
John Bryant
University of Kentucky Vice—Chairman for United Way .
