FOREWORD

The forms contained in this bulletin were prepared by Gordie
Young, Assistant Superintendent of Public Instruction, because of the
constantly increasing requests for helps of this nature. Each form is
an example of an agreement for a particular phase of school work and
should serve as a guide to school officials, as well as other interested
citizens, who desire to enter into agreements pertaining to the opera-
tion of their schools. In preparing these forms an attempt was made
to include a sufficient variety to meet most demands for holding elee-
tions and making contracts in school districts. It is hoped this volume
may prove serviceable and adaptable to the use of school officials into
whose hands it may come and that it will help to lighten the cares and
give renewed encouragement in the important work of serving the
interests of the children of the public schools.
