- The John V. Upington and Brothers Carriage Company records consist of two cash books and a letter book dating from 1872-1891. The cash books contain the financial records for the Carriage Company. The cash book from 1872-1879 includes a business card for the Akron Hardware & Stamping Company. The letter book records company business transactions, such as orders, supply lists, and receipts.
