- Biography / History
- Dr. Robert Leslie Jackson (1838-1916) was a physician who lived in Johns Creek, Pike County. Kentucky. He was married to Lorena Shelton; they had five children, including John M. Jackson, Robert W. Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson Hunt, and Lena Jackson Collinsworth. Robert Winfield Jackson (1871-1936) was a teacher in Johns Creek. He married Cora Mims; they had one daughter Gretis. On June 2, 1901, he married Laura Elkins, daughter of Jeff and Marinda Maynard Elkins. Their children were Robert Jerome, Opal, Blake, Tom, and Alley.

- The Jackson family photographs (dated 1865-1961, undated; 0.07 cubic feet; 1 box) consists of photographs documenting the Jackson family of Johns Creek in Pike County, Kentucky. Notable photographs include a tintype of Dr. Robert L. Jackson; two photographs of Robert W. Jackson with his students; and a photograph of a baptism held in Johns Creek.
