Scope and Content
The Thelma Beeler Lafayette High School papers (dated 1945-1990; 1.08 cubic feet; 3 boxes, 1 folder) primarily comprise black-and-white photographs of student theater and other productions. They also include a few color prints and color transparencies; black-and-white prints of Beeler; evaluation sheets from the Kentucky High School Speech League and High School Drama Festival competitions, 1962; class reunion materials, 1970s-1980s; script for play, "Dear Wormwood;" programs; and newspaper clippings, especially about drama and speech at Lafayette. One set of photographs documents Jesse Stuart's visit to the high school for a performance of his play, The Thread that Runs so True, 1959.
